To the one who is ready to quit.
Quietly surrendered that no change can be made.
You matter.
To the one who feels as if their pastor will never understand or evolve
or open to something new.
You matter.
To those who may have let skepticism grow in the recesses of their heart.
To the one who has constructed a concrete wall around them as a means of gracious and needed self-protection.
You matter.
To the one who is deconstructing faith but is fearful to tell anyone in their church family.
You matter, and your journey matters too.
GOD IS WITH YOU.
GOD SEES YOU.
GOD LOVES YOU.
May your bucket be poured back into as you pour out to so many people this Christmas.
May you feel the warmth of God's Emmanuel presence among and within you.
And now that services are over, MAY YOU FIND REST for your body and rest for your soul.
